We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a full-time LPN!

The Hospice LPN will supplement the nursing care needs of an assigned group of patients/families, under the direction of a RN, as provided by the RN in the plan of care. Skilled nursing services will be given in accordance with physician’s orders and are established by the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) under the direction of a registered nurse in accordance with the PA Nurse Practice Act.

Basic Qualifications

Education/Training/Certifications: Graduate of an accredited LPN Program. Valid PA LPN Licensure required. Valid NJ Driver’s License with proof of insurance.

Skill(s): Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees related to Hospice philosophy.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Experience: Minimum one year experience in oncology and or/or hospice training program.
